CLERGY CONFERENCE
2026 CLERGY CONFERENCE
March 15 - 16, 2026
From Weary to Wholehearted: A Clergy Retreat
Led by The Rev. Callie Swanlund
Clergy life asks so much of us, often more than we consciously notice. This retreat is an invitation to slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect with what sustains you. Together we’ll explore practices that nurture the heart, honor limits, and support a more wholehearted way of being in ministry. The focus is rest, renewal, and remembering you are more than what you produce.
Our guest leader Callie Swanlund is an Episcopal priest, retreat leader, spiritual companion, and coach who helps others know their belovedness and find their Spark. Her new book, From Weary to Wholehearted, is a restorative resource for overcoming ministry burnout. Callie is a creative minister and leads individuals and groups in the work of Dr. Brené Brown as a Certified Daring Way Facilitator. Her How2charist: Digital Instructed Eucharist film has reached a global audience of Christians and curious individuals, and her Wholehearted Wisdom movement invites others into deeper reflection and connection. Callie is an Episcopal Church Foundation Fellow and has keynoted conferences for Kanuga Christian Formation, Episcopal Communicators, Episcopal Camps and Conference Centers, and Church Pension Group. She has led clergy conferences, parish retreats, and other events across the United States, and will soon lead her first international retreat in Ireland. Callie recently completed her 100-hour training in sound meditation facilitation, equipping her to use instruments from around the world to create an embodied spiritual practice. She lives in Philadelphia with her co-dreaming partner Jeremy Tackett, their two tween/teen children, and a rescue pup named Rufus.
